What happens to the visual arts during quarantine? How does the creative process work? How to present the completed works in the online space? Art Can’t Be Quarantined is a series, where we sought answers to these questions through the presentation of our 2020 mentoring program.

Mentored by: Rozina Pátkai, musician, artist, Hungarian University of Fine Arts

Mentor: Szabolcs KissPál

The E 'morte ‘life card’ project is one of the projects of the Jewish Culture 2028 mentoring program, which starts from a family photo album. This video is based on a zoom mentor-mentored conversation between Rozina Pátkai and her mentor, artist Szabolcs KissPál, on May 7, 2020.

What is this mentoring program? The ZSK 2028 project launched a mentoring program at the end of 2019. We have published a call for young artists who are working on a Jewish theme in their works, or who have a project idea that touches on this theme. From the applicants, we selected 3 individuals who will work with the mentors to develop their ideas. The mentors came from members of the ZSK network.
