❊ Redesigning the state

❊ Klezmer music and Jewish folk dance from Transcarpathia to Israel
Bob Cohen has been collecting the legacy of Eastern European Jewish folk music for decades, touring almost all of Eastern Europe. Thanks to them, the memory of the diverse Jewish culture that characterized the region from the 18th century to the Second World War is revealed through music. The performance will give an insight into the stories of the collection and the stories will be complemented by dance and music.
Zoe Aqua - violin, dance, Fumie Suzuki - dance, Bob Cohen - violin, Ádám Móser - accordion

❊ 3i - Dance like there's no tomorrow!
Unleash the wild and elemental parts of your movement with your imagination! 3i is an exploration-centred dance space. An emotional, physical journey around and beyond our own world. Through word-guided improvisation, we connect with our swirling imagination and the energy of movement generates an experience 100% our own and unrepeatable. Everyone develops their own movement - first alone and then through touch. And the togetherness culminates in an exhilarating party. The whole process is accompanied by a DJ. You are welcome
Sándor Petrovics, Appropriate Grooves

❊ Saturday Kabbalat Sabbat
According to the Jewish religion, the seventh day is a day of rest, a physical, mental, and spiritual experience where we let go of the past and are not concerned about the future. What's on singing, poetry, meditation, and above all celebration.
Moses House and Adam Schönberger
❊ Performance workshop
What does adaptation mean to you? Everyone in the workshop is a performer. Let's create short performances together focusing on the theme of this year's Banquito, adaptation. Members of the collective will guide participants through a process of theatrical creation, through which we will draw on our own stories and experiences to bring us closer to ourselves and to each other.
Noya Szántusz Noémi, Mikolt Tózsa, Rebeka Kozma Zsófi Zsófi Szántusz, Mikolt Tózsa and Rebeka Kozma.Adaptation and healing

❊ Meredith Marks is a movement teacher from New York. She currently lives in Budapest, Hungary, in the land of her ancestors, and works on ancient trauma and psychosomatic healing. In this workshop, we will explore how the intelligence of the body can guide our healing from the stories of the past and inspire our journey forward from our present moment, intimately connected to the personal and cultural context of the present.
