This year's Hanukkah Festival of Jewish Culture 2028 is dedicated to the life and work of Miksa Róth, as the Aurora building was one of Róth's workshops.

❊/→ Miksa Róth is one of our country's best-known craftsmen, whose
His works can be found in the Parliament and the Academy of Music, as well as in the Gresham Palace and the Hungarian National Bank.
❊/→ On this walk, however, we follow in his footsteps in the former suburbs and see what remains of his workshops in Erzsébetváros and Yózsefváros (spoiler: one is a memorial house, the other is the Aurora).
❊/→ In the first half of the program, we will be guests of the Miksa Róth Memorial House, where Dóra Kolocz, museologist and professional manager of the Miksa Róth Memorial House and Collection, will take us on a tour of the glass artist-entrepreneur's former home and the exhibits. The Róth Miksa Memorial House and Collection is housed in the former home of the world-famous glass artist Miksa Róth, in Nefelejcs Street, District VII. The house and workshop, which was renovated according to the design of Samu Pecz, was one of the exciting buildings of the "Csikágó".
❊/→ Then, following architectural storyteller Dávid Zubreczki, we take a short walk around the city to see what the area was like when Miksa Róth was working and what remains of the city. We will also admire some public artworks created in the master's workshop.
❊/→ We end our walk in the Aurora with a hot drink!
