László Göndör and Éva Katona's play Living the Dream with Grandma recently premiered in New York at the Here Art Center as part of the Hungary L!ve Festival. It is hoped that many more opportunities will follow the successful English-language performance in Europe and the United States.
In June 2022, the play received the Staféta Audience Award, allowing the first steps towards refining a follow-up play.
The New York premiere would not have been possible without the festival, our partners and supporters Hungary Live Festival, JDC - Mozaik Zsidó Közösségi Hub, Dutch Jewish Humanitarian Fund, Zionist Federation of Hungary, Israeli Cultural Institute, Charles & Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation, JCC Budapest - Bálint Ház, SzínMűHely Foundation, Centrál Médiacsoport, Endre Somogyi.
