Tamás Don's MA thesis and research topic is the integration possibilities of young, emerging artists integration possibilities in the Hungarian system of contemporary art institutions. His areas of interest include projects reflecting on social and political issues, and art pedagogy. Since February 2018, he has been the curator of MODEM in Debrecen, and has also worked on several independent curatorial projects, such as the organizer of the Bánkitó Visual Art Festival and the Küszöb Festival. In 2019, he was admitted to the Hungarian Section of the International Association of Art Critics. In 2020, he won the ARTtransfer Award of the Ludwig Museum under the auspices of MODEM with 30 experimental online art pedagogy programs coordinated with József Mélyi and Ágnes Szabics. Since 2015, he has been the curator of the series of projects entitled Venishing Points, which focuses on Jewish identity and anti-Semitism in different eras of the 20th century.
