The aim of the project was to extend the Sabbath reception, making it visible to a wider range of festival-goers. Therefore, we designed a viral game that can be passed on by participants with a preliminary online engagement and then through Kabbalat Sabbath. The festival visitors wrote messages to each other that they could send, receive, and pass on to each other on tiny papers, inside the challah (like as it is a "fortune cookie"). 200 pieces of challah were made, which were distributed by roughly 30-40 people attending the services to their own acquaintances and to the festival audience. The performance worked, several people received challah and messages from strangers on that Friday night.
The community game took place within the framework of the Bánkitó Festival on July 9, 2021.
