Pályázz a Bánkitóra művészeti projekttervvel!

A MAROM Egyesület ZSK2028* projektje pályázatot hirdet 18-25 év közötti fiatalok számára. Olyan művészeti projektterveket várunk, amelyek széles értelemben véve a zsidósággal foglalkoznak, jelentsen az kultúra, társadalom vagy éppen identitással kapcsolatos kérdéseket. Ezen belül képzőművészet, film, fotográfia, zene, színház, irodalom kategóriába is eshet a projekt, műfaja széleskörűen értelmezhető, a verstől a videón vagy installáción át akár az előadóművészetig és performanszig terjedhet. A ZSK2028 missziójához kapcsolódóan előny, ha a projekt reflektál a közösség, közösségiség kérdésére, és a megvalósulása során épít is a közösségek bevonására. Egyéni, illetve alkotóközösségek csoportos pályázatát is várjuk!

Pályázó önéletrajza

Sikeres pályázat esetén a pályázó jutalma:

január és február hónapokban havi 20-20 ezer forintos ösztöndíj a projekt kidolgozásához, véglegesítéséhez.
Egy-egy, az adott kulturális területen nagy tapasztalattal rendelkező mentor segítsége projekt kidolgozásához.
További 50-70 ezer forintos támogatás a kiválasztott projektek kivitelezéséhez.
PLUSZ: Az elkészült projektet bemutathatod a Bánkitó fesztivál 2020 hivatalos programjában, így egyúttal belépést is nyersz a fesztiválra.

Beadási határidő: 2019. december 20.

A pályázatot emailben kell elküldeni a zsk2028@gmail.com címre. A tárgyban legyen benne, hogy „Mentor pályázat”.

A pályázatok elbírálását a ZSK2028 résztvevői és a majdani mentorok végzik.

*A ZSK2028 Marom egy új, hosszú távú projektje, amelynek célja olyan kulturális programok létrejöttének elősegítése, amelyek a magyarországi zsidósággal kapcsolatos kérdéseket tematizálnak. A szándék olyan progresszív, a résztvevők aktív bevonására építő generatív kulturális események közösségi megvalósítására irányul, amelyek célja első sorban nem a zsidóság önreprezentációja, hanem egy tágabb, közösségi együttműködés keretei között zajló közös gondolkodás a változatos egyéni és csoportos kulturális identitások egymáshoz kapcsolódó, jelenkori és történelmi viszonyairól.

Apply for Bánkitó Festival with an artist project proposal!

The JC2028 project* of the Marom Association is looking for young applicants between the ages of 18 to 25. We invite project proposals dealing with topics connected to the Jewish community, such as cultural and societal questions or topics related to identity. We call for projects in different fields: fine arts, film, photography, music, theater, literature, the genre is up to the applicants. According to its mission, JC2028 prefers those proposals that would reflect on the questions of community and communitiness and would engage concrete communities during the project. We are looking for project proposals from both individuals and art collectives!

Applications must include:

A detailed project proposal of 3000-4000 characters
CV of the applicant in English or in Hungarian

Selected applicants are awarded the following:

Monthly scholarship of 20000 HUF in January and February, 2020 to help finalizing the proposal and creating the project.
The help of a highly qualified mentor related to the specific field who will be assisting the development of the project.
Further 50-70000 HUF to help carrying out the project.
PLUS: Opportunity to present the project as part of the official program of Bánkitó Festival 2020, and free admission to the festival.

Deadline for submission: 20 December, 2019.

Decisions will be made by the participants of JC2028 and by the future potential mentors.

*The Jewish Culture 2028 (JC 2028) is a new, long-term project of the Marom Association. It aims to encourage the communal creation of cultural programs that relate to the Hungarian Jewish community. Its goal is to help making such progressive, engaging and generative cultural events that wish to generate a broader cooperation and communal thinking about the historic and contemporary relations of the cultural – individual and group – identities rather than just the self-representation of the Jewish community

Kutatói felhívás

A MAROM Egyesület ZSK2028 projektje kutatói felhívást hirdet „Zsidó közösségek és kultúra” című háttérkutatására.

Magyarországon számos, a zsidósággal kapcsolatos kulturális kezdeményezés, esemény (fesztivál, koncert, kiállítás stb.) létezik, amelyek igen változatos palettán mozognak és különböző célcsoportokat igyekeznek megszólítani. Miközben elmondható, hogy ez a gazdag kulturális felhozatal sok emberhez eljut országszerte, keveset tudunk a kulturális tevékenységek teljes spektrumáról, a szervezők közti viszonyrendszerről, valamint arról, hogy milyen igényekre reflektálva és milyen stratégia mentén jönnek létre ezek a programok. A kutatás célja, hogy összegyűjtse és egy, a kutató által felállított szempontrendszer szerint kategorizálja az országos szinten elérhető, jelenlegi legfontosabb zsidó kulturális kezdeményezéseket, azok intézményes rendszerét, valamint rámutasson azokra a pontokra, ahol a jelenleg meglévő kulturális tevékenységek bővíthetőek és bővítendőek lehetnek.

Főbb feladatkörök:

Az országszerte meglévő főbb zsidó kulturális kezdeményezések feltérképezése és elemzése.
Részvétel a ZSK2028 keretében, 2019. december 20-án rendezendő, témához kapcsolódó konferencia tematikájának kidolgozásában és lebonyolításában
30000 – 35000 karakteres magyar nyelvű tanulmány benyújtása, amely a kutatás alapján elemzi a bemutatott legfőbb kulturális kezdeményezéseket és a kapcsolódó közösségek munkáját a felállított szempontrendszer szerint

A kutatás időtartama: 2019. november 11- 2020. február 11.

A pályázat beküldésének határideje: 2019. november 4.

A pályázat elbírálásának határideje: 2019. november 11.

Pályázati feltétel az előzetes ismeret a zsidó kultúra témakörében.

Előnyben részesülnek:

Azonos vagy hasonló témájú MA, PhD dolgozat témával rendelkezők
Szaktudományos publikációkkal rendelkező pályázók

A pályázatnak tartalmaznia kell:

Egy maximum kétoldalas kutatási tervet, amely tartalmazza a tervezett kutatás módszerét, valamint a kutatás ütemtervét
A pályázó szakmai önéletrajzát

Best Venezia – Jewish Book Week London pályázat

Submissions will be invited this year from Jewish authors aged 35 or under in the following countries: Italy, Belgium, Germany, Hungary, Poland, and Sweden. The criteria are as follows. We are seeking a short piece of fiction or non-fiction of up to 2,000 words on the subject of identity. The submitted item could be either an essay or piece of journalism, or a discrete selection from a larger work such as a book or a thesis. If the item is a selection from a longer piece of writing, it must present as a coherent standalone piece and be accompanied by a short introductory paragraph to contextualise it. The work must have been published. The closing date for submissions is Friday 26^th July 2019

The workshop will take place in Venice where the six authors will spend a week with their translators from 18 – 25 September 2019, when the Venice Biennale is taking place. The translators will attend the workshop with a draft translation (having liaised with the author prior to the workshop), allowing them to refine the work during their time together in Venice. Participants (both authors and translators) will participate in a specially curated programme including talks from David Grossman and Edmund de Waal and experience Shabbat in Venice. The translator and writer will also work together on how to prepare a pitch for a publisher.

The translators will finish their translations by the second week in October. A selection of the participants will be invited to participate in an event at Jewish Book Week 2020 in London on the topic of ‘Writers in Translation.’

Jewish Book Week is London’s oldest annual literary festival and brings together writers and speakers from all over the world. The festival features Jewish themes and writers, as well as discussions on the most important issues of the day. Over eighty events are presented during the festival itself, covering history, journalism, philosophy, science, art, music, poetry and fiction.

Beit Venezia weaves Jewish culture into the larger fabric of Venetian cultural life, serving both the local Jewish community and a general Italian and international audience. It organizes conferences, lectures, performances, and has promoted several residencies for writers, musicians and visual artists.
